Creon treats Antigone the way he does. He does not believe a woman should ever try to go against a man's word, it is not their place. Finally Creon is so strongly against Antigone, he tells his son who is supposed to wed her, to go against her. “Do not my son, at pleasure’s bidding, give up your wits for any women.” (107).
