Women Should Be in the Maliltary
Yes, women should serve in the military.
Women can provide administrative support instead of being in combat positions. With the help of technology and computers, women would be able to help protect their countries and their loved ones living in their countries even without going to battlefields to fight and kill. So, why shouldn't women serve NS?
They should be allowed in combat.
They should be allowed to be in combat because it is their life's choice, so if they want to die in battle, fighting for our country they should be allowed to do that. It's their freedom to help their country and they have every bit as good of stamina as men do, so you can't say that men are more robust. They aren't born like that and neither are women, they have to work at it and they will achieve it.
I think that Women Should.
I think that women should be allowed to join the army. That women are slightly weaker physically, does not prevent them to be brave and that they will help other people in war zones and they will bombard their homeland as any other. It is not harder for a woman to kill a man. It depends on how well they are prepared and how much you care about the issue, and who says women can not be involved?
Never underestimate what a women is capable of.
Yes, women are not as strong as men. But they sure can do the job. Everyone judges just because they think a women can't do a man's job which isn't true. Women should be able to do what they want and the way they want to do it. Underestimating a women shouldn't even be something considered. We can fight, we can give our nation pride!
Women are no different.
Women are no different in combat than men. They may not be men but they can fight just like if they put their hard work into it. They are hard working. They can protect themselves and they can act to the best interest in the wars. They work just as hard.
Women are sometimes much braver than men.
Those women who have had children have pulled through the pain of

Women in combat In the article, “Military women in Combat: Why making it official matters” composed by Jena McGregor, the author clearly makes a strong stance regarding women in the military. One point being, that at least 14,00 new jobs were made unrestricted, while 250,00 jobs in the military still remain restricted to men only. The main point in the article is difficult to point out at first , because the author seems to be in favor for women’s advancement in the military without combat and gives example to support her argument.…

Women have been allowed to have many jobs but should they be allowed to go to war? According to Rebecca Zissou on the Women Warriors article, a publication that talks about women combatants. “they aren't allowed to compete for a spot in the regiment because they are women”. This, of course, should be an issue when it comes down to these situations. The women should be treated the same way as a man. When it comes to these situations women are not treated equally as men, when that shouldn't happen for one reason. The reason is that women have the same rights as men. Women should be able to apply themselves to any job/career they want. Why remove those rights when it comes to women warriors?…

Over Fall Break, on October 15th, I watched a video called “Poverty, Incorporated”. The video demonstrated different challenges from current perceptions of charities and how one promotes free enterprise as an alternative to world poverty in an effective way. While watching the documentary of the film provided viewers with some insight on how one can help or hurt poverty through charities or companies without giving much meaning behind the scene. Throughout the film it discusses several ideas of how poverty can be used essentially for money. This means that one is trying to give viewers a view of what actually happens to when people donate to charities or NGO’s (non-governmental organizations) or knowing where the money is spent in places where…

Women have only just relatively recently been able to fight as a member of the active military for the United States. However, women have played various roles to help assist the country during different wars. This was true in early wars up into the present day. One war that women made a significant impact back home was in World War One. Women during this conflict made significant contributions to the war effort through the use of the Red Cross, education, and training opportunities.…

Women are just as equal as men as is everyone else. Women shouldn't be called out just because they're not strong, or don't have as much mentality as men. Women should have the right to serve in combat. Only women with really good training and strength would be allowed in war. The leaders wouldn't allow anybody with no training or skill out in combat. “As long as an applicant is qualified for a position, one’s gender doesn't matter.” (Sisters in Arms) It isn't hard to give a woman…

Everyone works extraordinarily courageous when danger is experience. Women are not left out. They work as hard to ensure they achieve what is required of them. No gender is designed for courageous acts to be in the military solely. Women and men can work hand in hand to fight the battles and emerge victorious. Women have been restricted from artillery, infantry, armor and other combat roles in specialty. They are recruited to perform administrative work, nurse the ill and wounded, do laundry and cook for the troops. I strongly disagree with the person who came up with this plan. Women should be allowed in the army not to cook but to serve as their male counterparts since no gender is better suited for some jobs and careers (Lianas…

Women with combat roles will cause issues with in the military and out. Mcgregor said, “Yes, putting women in combat roles beyond those that have been recently formalized would require many adjustments, both logistical and psychological, for the military and for its male troops” Men having to adjust for women to be in combat by logistical and psychological help is an eye opener for how crucial it is to change gender roles.…

Although female soldiers have recently been allowed to take jobs in previously all-male battalions, over 250,000 combat jobs still remain closed to them. Some argue that this unfairly limits career growth, while others contend that women are not able to withstand the physical and psychological nature of combat. Do you think that women should be able to serve in combat positions? Why or why not?…

One hundred years have passed, and women have marched forward, quite literally. Women have progressed from being strictly wives and teachers to soldiers on the front line; therefore, they should be treated the same as men. Not only are women capable of fighting beside a man in the military now, but they are also great at many other positions in the military such as nurses and pilots. Girls being included in the selective services would increase the size and power of the US army when the time came. Women have most of the same rights as men do living in the United States. Women should not be excluded from the draft because men think women are not equal. Women have the same freedom as men, therefore women should have to fight for it like men as…

This argument makes sense because the physical side of women are lower than man. In basic training the standards of physical fitness have been set to suit men, and women attempting to reach them will over-stretch themselves. Also there is a factor of enemy abuse while both male and females are at risk of torture and rape, but misogynistic societies may be more willing to abuse women prisoners. However women have proven to be a good support in the combat system with morale, tradition and mission effectiveness. In the end there are more positives than negatives for women being allowed to serve in the combat…
