Women's Basketball Team Case Study
The LeTourneau University women’s basketball team lost to NCAA Division II member, Texas A&M University-Commerce, 101-70 on Saturday in Commerce.

The YellowJackets (1-2) shot 42.2% (27-for-64) from the field including a 42.1% (8-for-19) clip from beyond the 3-point line in the loss. Three members of the LETU squad – LaTanya Drakes (19 points), Crystal Jones (17 points) and Ashley Reed (13 points) – scored in double figures.

The Lions (1-2) shot at a 49.3% (35-for-71) average for the win including six players – with all five starters - in double figures. Princess Davis accounted for a game-high 20 to lead A&M-Commerce.

Crystal Jones put LETU ahead with her first two baskets of the game for an early 5-4 lead before a 14-3 run by the host
