In Western Europe, most countries would not allow women to vote from 1750 to 1914. But the tides were suddenly changing. When The Declaration of Rights of Man and Citizen was written, women in Western Europe had an idea to write their own version of it. The Declaration of Rights of Women and Citizen was written by Olympe de Gouges. In this version, women demanded rights. They wanted the right to vote, divorce, own property in marriage, be educated and have their own career. Due to their persistent attitudes toward gender equality, West European women then began to receive their rights. Unlike in Latin America, women in Europe were trying to fight for suffrage and demanded rights. But women’s suffrage didn’t gain full attention in Europe until after the period between 1750 to 1914. It was further gaining momentum and would come to an end soon after. However, women’s suffrage in Latin America wasn’t a large movement and women didn’t gain the right to vote until 1930, but, with a few restrictions. Although women had similar roles in Western Europe and Latin America from 1750 to 1914, women themselves had different mindsets toward women’s suffrage and their attitude toward women’s rights was very diverse. The women’s movement has become a noticeable phenomenon in social life, has accumulated much experience in reducing discrimination against women improved their social status. For me, women are blessings from “God”. They make good nations because they brought up family. The roles of women in society have been greatly overseen in the last few decades. In the past, we couldn’t deny that women’s standing in society are not anywhere lower than men, they were not allowed to vote and didn’t have any voice. But now, women are the most important part of this society, they look after the house, children, and family. Without women this world, we
