First of all, the superb fall scenery is spectacular. Light gentle leaves in red, orange, and yellow descending all around. With a soothing North-Western wind blowing the leaves off the flaking birches, and fiery maples. The crunch of the newly fallen leaves seems to give a small burst, with every step I take.

Some days when the sky is clear, and the sun is warm on my back, I think that I could soar with eagles so mighty and proud. Or float like the blue glass bottles down the creek which contain notes or letters. With hunting right the corner in fall it’s time to do some tracking of where the “monster bucks” are located. Putting on my hipster boots, I stomp through the gooey swamp. Back on land, the newly fallen leaves get stuck to my muddy boots. But I don’t mind, because it reminds me every time that there’s a vibrant parade right under my own two feet.
In summary, where will I ever find a place so majestic yet serene? No place will ever replace my time in the woods. Time will never stop to let me be out there forever, so I’m going to enjoy while it lasts. The ridges form my heart, and the creeks running through them my blood.
