For example, companies can set up a Facebook page or group for selling their woolen sweater. They can also set up an e-shopping store in Taobao or in their own web pages. Also, as the advance of mobile technology, they can even set up their e-shopping store in Instagram, a mobile apps in the mobile phone. The ease of starting the woolen sweater business increases the potential competitors of our company. Once the potential competitors set up their e-business through the above-mentioned ways, they become our competitors and they may take some market shares from our company.
Secondly, the competition with the traditional wool sweater seller is another threat our company is facing. The traditional wool sweater seller like UNIQLO, GAP, H&M, etc, they probably have a more well-known brand name than our company. Customers tend to buy their products as customers may think big company may offer products with better quality. Also, the traditional wool sweater sellers always have shops, stores or even retail outlets. Customers can try to wear the sweater to see whether it is fit or not. They can see the real products and decide whether to buy as the photos shown on the internet are sometimes different from the real product.
