Final Paper
Just Breathe It’s 5:30 A.M. on Monday morning and I’m startled by the loud buzzing coming from my alarm clock; I hit snooze. I do this a few more times before I begin to drag myself out of bed. You see, this is just the first day of my busy week. Let me walk you through what a normal week consists of in the life of Maura Toye. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday consists of everything I mentioned above. I work full time at the local hospital as a Nursing Assistant. Full time at PMC consists of 36 hours a week, and for my particular position, 12 hour shifts. I go into work as the sun’s rising and I’m leaving work well after the sun goes down. Once I return home, I make sure everything is ready for the beginning of yet another busy week and I retire to bed. Sometimes I really wonder if all this hard work is going to get my anywhere. Sometimes I’m so happy and proud to say I’m such a hard worker. A lot of the times though, I just cry. Working is something that pretty much makes the world go around. It’s an everyday part of life that can’t be avoided, and if you’re not careful, will run you right into the ground. Some
