Introduction: Hotel Restaurant Association Philippines (HRAP)
Founded on September 1952 by ten executives of the leading hotels and restaurants in Manila and nearby areas. Its goal was to upgrade the standards of local hospitality by improving management, skills and personnel service while keeping abreast of trends and development abroad.
HRAP remains training and education as its forefront priority. In 1995, HRAP in cooperation with the Singapore Hotel Association Training and Education Center (SHATEC) and thru the Hotel and Tourism Institute of the Philippines (HTIP), they started offering training and management programs using SHATEC’s modules and trainers.
