“ World of Extreme Happiness” is a play by Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig that portrays a bitter odyssey by heroine, Sunny, to rise up against all social barriers. Set in contemporary China, the drama sheds light on grim topics such as discrimination, violation of civil rights and many more. On April 14th, I had pleasure of experiencing the play acted by the students of the City College of New York in association of the Department of Theater and Speech. In this play I came to know about how to deliver speech that would please the audience. More on the topic is discussed below.

In this play, we can see a frequent change in its tone. Sometimes the drama took an an comedic approach. And on the other times it would talk about issues with serious magnitude.
