Religions throughout the world have been around for thousands of years. Two of the most popular are Christianity and Islam. Throughout history these religions have made quite an impact on society, for example one-hundred and sixty million of Africans are Christians. The Christianity and Islam religion spread throughout trade in South Africa. There are many religions in the world many, beliefs but these two are two of the most valued. Christianity and Islam are both monotheistic religions meaning they only believe in one God. Christianity and Islam are both very interesting religions, they are also the two most common religions . Presbyterian Methodist etc as denominations . Islam has Ahmadiyya, Sunni and more. Christianity and Islam have the most followers out of all the other religions. These two religions are the
. In these two religions faith goes a long way, the apostle Paul once said that “ the righteous will live by faith”. This comes to the fact that Islam and Christianity both have many of the same beliefs. Islam is also different than Christianity in some ways. Islam for example does not believe that christ was born that he was just a prophet. Christianity on the other hand believes that jesus christ was the son of God and placed on this earth to live in the will of God and do good in his name. Christianity was founded in europe in 33 C.E by Jesus Christ. Christianity spread throughout the world mainly by trade routes like the silk road , trans-saharan, northern europe and eastern europe. These are all routes that people traded spices ,silk, ideas and thoughts, including thoughts about Christianity. Islam was founded in Saudi Arabia in 622 C.E by Muhammad. Islam was spread when the prophet Muhammad began preaching. Many then followed what Muhammad preached soon islam was spreading throughout Saudi-Arabia. Islam and Christianity are both very similar but there are differences for example their teachings are different. Christianity focused more on life and Jesus Christ ,while Islam teaches more of the prophet Muhammad. Life after death is another thing that they both believe in, the Christian and Islam both strongly believe that there will be a day of judgement and every human will be placed into heaven or hell. Also they both have a set of rules so to say, for Christians it would be the Ten Commandments, For Islam it would be the Five Pillars Of Islam . As this comes to show there are many common and uncommon thing in Christianity and Islam , though they are different the main idea is much the same in the end
