Worldview Essay I live in a world today where most people view the world in one perspective, their perspective. This is because people want to believe in what makes sense to them and because it’s simple and easy. But to get a good worldview you have to look through the lens of the remaining 7 billion people also living in this world. How people understand and look at the world affects on how they relate to other people of different beliefs. Some people express hate and others practice peace. This depends on how you view the world. I am Gabriel Andrew Isaiah Jaramillo and was raised in a Catholic family. I was raised to believe in God and went to mass every Sunday. I was confirmed into the Roman Catholic religion when I was thirteen. I have practice Catholicism my whole life. Ever since I could remember every time I was in a tough predicament or in any discomfort I did what my religion has taught me. Look for God to give me strength, courage and everything I need to overcome any obstacle. But now as I grow older and ask questions to myself I look for a new answer. This answer I’m looking for is not God anymore or any other type of god. I do not reject my faith but I accept other ideas and new knowledge to help me figure out my problems. I believe that there is a cause and effect for everything that happens to you. Not because it was Gods plan for you or because God loves you or not. Planet earth is made up of many different religions. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and the list goes. The definition of religion is to join together or reconnect with people. The problem with our world today is that we have so many different types of religions and beliefs that no one can come together or connect. Now if this was a perfect world everyone would belief in the same thing and everything would be gravy. This will never happen because when people question another’s belief it starts wars.
