Worldview Assignment
I. What is worldview?
According to The Popular Encyclopedia of Apologetics a worldview is the framework of beliefs by which a person views the world around him (Hindson & Cancer, 2008, p. 498). A person’s worldview shows facts of reality and how it relates and comes together.

1. The Questions of Origin- Globally Christian finds that God created the heavens, earth and everything in six days. This is explained in detail in Genesis 1while Psalms 8:3-9 discusses the origin of everything in existence in praise of God’s glory.
2. The Question of Identity- Globally Christians believes that God created man. Genesis 1:27 teaches that God created man in his own likeness. We are set apart from animals because we are higher than animals man was given dominion over the earth and all that is in the earth and the sea. 1 Corinthians 15:39 explains this.
3. The Question of Meaning- Meaning and purpose are defined and provided by the sacrifice of Christ on the cross and his rise from the tomb 3 days later. John 17:3 provides a simple explanation of meaning of our lives which is simply to know God. Our purpose in this life is set out in out in Matthew 28:19-20 when Jesus provides out great commission and purpose.
4. The Question of Morality- Globally Christian views acknowledge man’s shortcoming and the need for morality and forgiveness in Romans 3:23. Our morality is based on the principle given in John 13:34 when Jesus teaches that we should love one another. The concept of loving one another as Jesus loved us in his willingness to bear the burden of the sin of the world and all that there in lives.
5. The Question of Destiny- John 14:6 provides the solution and the goal of destiny for the Christian when Jesus teaches that no one can go to the Father except through the son. As Christians we strive to live as Jesus gave example to reach that stated destiny as promise by Jesus and have Eternal life in those many mansions
