Part 1 (What is a worldview)
World view is a person’s philosophy of life and how we see things. The way that the world is viewed will affect the way that you think about things within your day to day life or of things within the world. If you are always seeing destruction, then you will see the world as destructive.
Part 2 (Articulate the Biblical worldview for the following questions)
1. The question of Origin – Genesis 1:1, 1 Peter 1:21
a. We know that in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Knowing that God is our creator explains to us what our origin is and how things everything was started. As a Christian, my belief is that God is my creator and that all things were created by him.
2. The question of Identity – Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:15
a. We know that God created each of us as individuals that have their very own unique qualities. Everyone has their own identity, their own thoughts and their own way of perceiving things. God created us all in his image but he also gave each of us a little something different. We were created the way that God wanted us to be and nothing or nobody can change what is on the inside because it was put there by God.
3. The question of Meaning/Purpose – Deuteronomy 11:13, John 17:3
a. We are all put here on earth for a reason and the main reason is for us to know God and to know his son Jesus. God wants all of us to have a personal relationship with him but this relationship is not forced. We are giving free will to choose as we please but God wants us to choose him.
4. The question of Morality – Psalm 51:5, Ephesians 2:8-10
a. We were born in sin but that doesn’t mean that we can’t have good morals. Because we were created by God, that means we were not a mistake. We should want to do good works all the time because we his children and this is what he has deemed appropriate. We should always treat people with dignity and respect because in the end this is how we
