The middle ages were the worst period in history, this was for many reasons including the black plague and the peasants revolt. The black plague was one of the most painful and deadly disease, the plague killed millions of people. These worst jobs in history were the most disgusting and most brutal jobs. These jobs were leach collectors, archer and arming squire. The medieval Europe had the harshest and brutal law and order. if a person was caught for murdering or stealing, they would have to go through three ordeals. These were ordeal of fire, ordeal of water and ordeal of combat.

One of the worst jobs in history was leech collectors. The leach collectors were really important medical proposes, the leech collectors were so important because the leeches would suck the bad blood out of people. This was really affective if a person had a disease. Leech collectors needed to know how to catch them properly, some leech collectors have lost big amounts of blood, this would be dangerous. Another job was an arming squire. An arming squire were from the ages from 13 to 18. Arming squires would replace and clean knights armour during battle, this was really dangerous and they could easily die. There job was to clean the mud, blood and ahem off the armour.
