Everyone has each and their own childhood memory that will be edged forever into their brains. During the days of being a child, there were no worries and stresses. Every little things were taken care by our lovely parents. Some would even take their kids to overseas to explore the beauty of the world. All these would definitely give the child an unforgettable memory. As for me, my one and only childhood memory will definitely outgunned the others because I had the privileged of once in a life time opportunity to ride on an extraordinary monumental machine.
When I was 12, I am an extremely huge fan of planes especially fighter jets. They make me wonder how it could possibly fly. I looked through the internet for more information and get to know even more about planes. I even went for Airshows and I looked at the fighter jets screaming across the air in subsonic speeds, which is breathtaking. After that, I had always the dream of riding a fighter jet, but I did not have to wait for long. Coincidentally, an uncle of mine,Ben, was a lieutenant pilot officer in the Air-Force Flight Demonstration Squadron, and was able to gain special permission from the Ministry Of Defense, which they kindly allowed me to ride on a fighter jet. It was a miracle!
I am thrilled to bits the moment when I arrived at the Air base station ready in my G-suit and strapped into the rear ejection seat of a FA-18 Hornet. As the jet hurtled down the runway, my heart rate began to accelerate.
