Also, my mouth was quenching for thirst, as I had to run while drinking water, which was a very bad idea. But my hard work had started to pay off as I starting gaining towards the guy with dreads, and even passing him up. While going through the last 800 meters of the race, I ran as fast as my body could allow, passing up two more racers. Yet as I roughly pass the finish line, I notice that I’m the third person to pass the line.
