Certified nursing assistants (CNAs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and registered nurses (RNs) are important medical professionals for their dedication to help people have good health care. CNAs are also known as Nursing Aids, who are in the beginning stage of nursing; therefore, they must be in a supervised setting. LPNs are also called Licensed Vocational Nurses(LVNs) whose careers are the second step in the health field. These nurses are under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. They are flexible and adaptable to any situation that occurs in their surroundings. The next step is being registered nurses(RNs), who are the ones that collaborate with other physicians about their clients. CNAs, or nursing aids, are the key component in nursing careers. They know the patients the most, so they can notice anything different. CNAs are responsible for the activities of daily living of the clients. These patients could be sick, dependent, disabled, or living in a health care facility. CNAs are also able to provide patients with comfort and should be compassionate. …show more content…
The responsibilities that they have are to monitor the health of the patients for symptoms or any conditions that may occur. These nurses always need to have records of each client and report any incidents. Registered nurses are also responsible to determine a health care plan based on their conditions and give them the treatments required. Lastly, they have the duty to teach the family members of friends about the patients’ conditions and how you plan to help them recover. The training needed to become RNs is to obtain a bachelor’s degree, which is the most common, or two years of community college. As well as the LPNs, the RNs also must take an Nclex-RN.
