As he was working his way towards a stoppage against Tony Grano, he suddenly got kicked in the groin. Even though he was awarded five minutes to recover, Kauffman opted to resume the fight after a mere 14 seconds. As soon as the fight continued, you could tell something was wrong with Kauffman from the way he moved. Grano came after him hard, and Kauffman simply couldn't hold his own anymore, losing the fight in the process.
