because users rely on it too much, it shorten our attention span, and our minds are becoming addicted to it. The internet has affect our mind in various way. For one thing, it is relied on too much. According to Ball State University study show Americans spend at least eight and a half hours per day surfing the net. From answering someone questions to watching videos it is all used by the internet. With so much information, some users believe that it will enhance our intelligent. The information that is provide from the internet will allow the internet users to keep that material in our brains. However, will that effect the other material that does not deal with the internet? In addition, paying attention is significant to the human’s mind. The internet has adjust the way an individual think and it even shorten human’s attention span. According to the “Impact of the Internet on Thinking,” San Jose University study show that reading more online but find it difficult to sustain their attention on other things. Someone may work on one thing and then end up being distracted from ads, sales, games, videos and social media from using the internet. This can have a negative effect on our mind. Our minds have become addicted to the internet like someone that is addicted to a drug. Somehow users have to keep using it get more. Something simple like checking an e-mail can lead you to do other things. Over thousands of internet users fall asleep with a laptop or a cell phone on their chest. For example, a student stays up all night while surfing the net because of lack of sleep it cause them to pay attention in class. For thousands the first thing turn to and the last thing is to be on the internet. On the contrary, others do not agree that the internet does not change the way a human think.
They believe that people do not rely on the internet a lot or that it affect our attention span. There are other sources such as books or newspaper article that can give us information. They think that if someone really want to pay attention, they would do their best to make time for it. life. There are countless users and hours of using the internet. They use it for their job, school, or just for fun. Everyone takes part of it and it has change the world. It change the way humans think. People rely on the internet on a daily basis. That may cause some to have a short attention span. Not being able to focus but some way somehow they cannot stop using it. The internet is here to stay until humans decide not to.
