Write An Essay On Why I Want To Be A Carnician
Flying around, the bird made me feel like reaching where I was heading more faster.I was too fat by that time and all I ever wished for was someone to lift me up as I got tired moving; I like travelling though I was unable to go to the place I wanted to go to and the funny side of it was that I wanted to use little time and loved planes because they could move to places in a short time.I was unhappy as I thought that a dream is realised the first time you dream about it.
My aunt one of plane technicians always told me how it was good to be flying to places and I could only wish to go with her and enjoy as she did. When I asked her to go with her she said that I had to work hard for it as it required her much in school, that became my motivation to learn even harder.I passed National Exams and went to a Sciences secondary school.I kept that fear in myself because we were never allowed to express our opinions all we did was to study for they said that we came for three things: study, study, study. That gave me the courage to keep on being reserved with all what I had in thoughts.
I was told that an aviation career needs Physics but then I also like computers which made me go for what I study.Although Physics seem to be so tough I still like it anyways ; I know I'll be who I want to be but not just

People who heard what I wanted to become kept criticizing the fact that I won't get admitted to an aviation university, that it is hard to get it; it made me think that they were not believing that I can make it to that same level because girls in our community are likely not to be that intelligent to make such progress after all they are taken to be the dumbest in the society.I got confused when I started failing in class that what I heard wasn’t a lie at all as it happened to me,I thought about giving up but then after a movie about genocide survivors who got more failures and terrible crushes;rose up and made up their minds to work hard to rebuild what was lost I felt

The English who founded Jamestown, Virginia, the first permanent settlement, came with the intent of finding gold and getting rich by trading with the Indians. As a result of the settler's eagerness for money, they failed to think about the location on which they chose to settle, the swamp. This geographic condition started the colony off to a negative start. The southern colonies did however, have a warm climate, swamps, and thick rich soil. None of the original settlers of the Southern colonies were use to working; therefore they had no food to eat. When John Smith, a key leader in keeping Virginia alive, said to his colonists "No work, no food the colonists took control and began a new life. As a result of the location of Jamestown, many…

I joined a fraternity the following year. After joining the fraternity I put even less thought into my future and I just wanted ti enjoy my college years and worry about it later on. Around the same time I was going through a rebellious teen phase at home with my mom and that proved too stressful all together. I slacked even more and, failed a class one semester. I would go to class and did just enough to get by without caring for the consequences. Well it all hit me at once my 4th year. I was already behind on credits and had to seriously think about my future. I looked at the summary of the past few years and I became extremely disappointed in myself for wasting so much time and not taking my education serious. I told myself that this is not how I wanted to live my life anymore. I took a step back during the summer vacation to reevaluate my actions and my life and try to change my priorities to get back on track. After doing a lot of thinking I changed a lot. I decided that I wanted to go back to school and get a restart on my grades and my college education but in a different major. As a consequence I would be in school for much longer but if in the end I would study what makes me happy and I would be more content…

Now I had an important decision to make: let cognitive dissonance take over and curb my toward what the epitome of success had to offer, or realize that maybe this place wasn't for me. I want to be in a place open to ideas with plenty of classes from which to choose, I want to study what I dream about and, most importantly, I want to be my own person, not one in a crowd of many. I decided to revise my previous idea of what a successful life meant and do what I felt would prepare me for who I wanted to be as an adult; I canceled my application and explained to my family why I took such a drastic step. On my own time, I figured out who I wanted to be, even if that meant not having the fortune and fame that came with stereotypical success, and this made me feel like a new person. I know I will not regret my decision and that my future is going in the proper direction for me to reach my goal: to study microbiology throughout college and graduate school, and work at the CDC, a dream completely different from the one I started with, but also one so much more true to my…

At this point I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life after college and I didn’t even know what college I wanted to go to. I did not like the feeling of not knowing what I wanted to do as a career. It would eat at me, so I decided to just hide it away deep down until it would find its way out eventually with the right answer a year and a half later. My classes were consisting of required courses that I had no care for. Back when I was a sophomore, we were required to take chemistry in order to complete high school. My chemistry teacher was the worst. He did not care about my assignments enough to actually take his time and read through them and give me an accurate score on my assignments and tests. No matter how hard or little I tried, he would always give me a score of a D or C, Teachers like him are what cause the students to have this thought of, “No matter how hard I try, I will never be able to better myself, I am worthless in their eyes.”. That’s the message I received when I was handed a sixty percent for my semester grade in that class. That teacher didn’t care about me, he didn’t want to waste his precious time on me. Teachers like him are like the diseases in the education…

I’ve never been good at very many things. In fact, I quit or failed almost everything I’ve been involved in pertaining to school or extracurricular activities. I wanted to accomplish something that my parents would be proud of but I didn’t have much motivation. I quickly learned that I wasn’t going to get anywhere that way.…

I was the kind of guy who always strove in order to get the highest grades but yet hadn’t decided what to do in the future. I wasn’t worried, I knew someday I would find something in what I was good at. I got to live with that thought for some time until I got to attend middle school, where I stopped worrying about my grades and managed only to pass the subjects. I spent most of my time sleeping due to the frustration of not knowing what to do in the future. Most of my middle school experience was tasteless. I hadn’t friends at all, and teachers used to discourage their students about their future. “You're not going to college, you’ll not be able to do it because you’re poor” used to say, Mrs. Vazquez, the math teacher who instead of giving her class, talked on how much his son had accomplished in college and how we would not be able to attend. That was about to change.…

As a child, my parents set my goals for me and it was to get a PH.D. go to Harvard. I have always appreciated them for pushing towards the right path and making sure I will always do my best but I lacked confidence. As I grew up, I started to compare myself to other kid my age. Even in my strongest subject like math, I compared myself to other people who do better than me. I lacked the confidence to accomplish the goals that were before me and I distance myself from these goals by saying that they were what my parents wanted for me and not something I choose myself. It was not until I went to Poly Pace that I got my confidence. I was surrounded by people who worked their hardest, faced challenges head on and push through them so that they can achieve their goal. I was aspired and I look at myself. I want to get into an great school or get a PH.D. not just for my parent but for my own future. I am able to apply for the LBCPA program because I am not comparing myself to other students and saying that they have better chance than me. This is me saying that I can accomplish what I want for my future and I wish the LBCPA will give me a chance and help me show what I can…

Everyone in life will have their own personal obstacles they will have to face in life. Some people will mentally shut down and give up when faced with a challenge. Others will take their challenges and use them to better themselves. The obstacles that I have faced in my life have never hit me harder than they have these past few months. This being my senior year, I always expected it to be the most laid back and relaxing year of my high school career. When in fact I set myself up for one of the biggest challenges of my life so far, by signing up for multiple online college classes, helping out with activities all over the school, and playing football for the first time since freshman year. Although, under all this immense pressure, this is where my true colors came out. I didn’t stop working to my full potential,…

I was eager to go and explore the world by myself for the first time. I was so excited I was trembling, I was biting my nails in frustration. I was praying that I would open the mailbox and a huge white envelope would be in there. I checked the mailbox day after day, night after night and there was still no mail from Radford! I started contemplating if going to college was the right thing to do. As each day went by, questions started to circulate me. I started to think, “I'm not cut out for this, I'm not smart for this, I can't make it in college, what have I've done!” The best thing for me to do was to throw myself in my pillow and just…

School is a place where your teachers and peers should always be counting on you and lifting your spirits up, not a place where you are told you will fail. Failure is something that every person encounters in there life, but how they get there defines who they are. Not winning or losing but the path you took and how hard you worked in achieving your goals. If your start with the right foundation and push yourself to the limit, whether you win or lose does not define you as a person, or at least you shouldn’t allow it to, because I certainly don’t. Walking into my class everyday and being told I will not go to college or that I will not succeed can be a real downer, but you can’t let others tell you what you can or cannot do. You must push through people's judgements and not allow it to define you. At the end of the day, how you are as a person defines your future and if that is true, I know that no matter what I put my mind to I can get there in the best way because I work hard, because school and testing does not come easy to me. I have to work for every little thing I do because I am not a machine that can process and memorize information on the first try.…
