Cooking Essays: A Combination of Recipes and Writing Skills
Many people find cooking a very absorbing thing. For a number of people it is a good habit, they find that cooking can be a way of expression of ideas and inspiration. Some dishes are real masterpieces that can be compared to pictures, poems or music. They are really so beautiful and, what is more, delicious! They differ from other works of art by the fact that they have not only figurative but also literary taste.
Very often, students, whose major is connected with food and technologies, have a task to write a cooking essay. If you have such a task, you should combine your cooking skills with writing skills and the result will be excellent.
To write a cooking essay, you may describe the process of cooking of some dish. The best variant will be to invent your own dish for a cooking essay. Still, if you are not so good at inventing new recipes, you may take some recipe and add your own creative features and ingredients to it.
Describe the choice of ingredients of the dish in a cooking essay.
Then, present the process of cooking itself. This means that you should describe the recipe in your own words. Cooking essays demand combination of cooking skills and writing skills. Do not present a mere recipe in your cooking essay; add some figurative details as well.
In a cooking essay, you may describe your feelings while cooking; maybe, the recipe has reminded you of some event or a person.
