Document: 500 word essay outlining the student's plans and goals, academic or professional, for the future.
_____3. Education Philosophy
Document: 500 word Essay
Students will create their own educational philosophy. This document speaks to their understanding of the purpose of education and illustrates their evaluation of how they learn best.
____ 4. Visible Man/Woman Short Film
Documents: 5 minute short film with final script/storyboard
· Student writes and directs a short film reflecting on social constraints and identifying and celebrating personal traits to be recognized by others.
_____ Any other TWO Performance Tasks from the 2013-14 school year that reflect student's intellectual, creative, and academic merits.
· Suggestions: Choice Boards from Frankenstein or 1984; Literary Analysis of Hamlet or Invisible Man; Hamlet character diaries; Creative Writing Workshop Portfolios
· Student should be able to academically reflect on the creative process and identify how the works represent academic merit.
