Post my Bachelor’s degree, having completed about 4 years of work at Nokia, the time had come for me to consider joining a full-time M.B.A. program, to boost my career further. I felt that the time was right, and conducted my research on potential schools, globally. Going by information that I read online, an email I received from our HR team at Nokia, along with some very positive feedback I received from a close friend, who is currently enrolled in the E.M.B.A. program at Hult, it was clear to me that Hult was the best business school where one could attain their M.B.A. degree – especially when looking at options in Dubai, taking into account, various rankings, career opportunities, and rotation options.
One of the major factors that influenced my decision was the positioning of Hult, in terms of global rankings. In a prospectus of the business school, I noticed that Hult was ranked “#1 for International Experience”, “#5 for International Business”, and “#17 for best business school in the U.S. and #27 in the world”. I heard good things about Hult, from past and current Hult candidates that I know, and it was particularly the fantastic ranking in ‘international experience’ that caught my eye. This made me believe that Hult would be the best option as a business school for me in Dubai, if I were to get into an M.B.A. program.
Secondly, what attracted me to Hult was the set of companies that Hult had affiliation with, in the sphere of career opportunities – covering internships, job opportunities, company visits, ‘action projects’, guest speaker sessions and the ilk. Taking a look at a brochure that I picked up at the office of Hult, I saw a listing of the companies that hired Hult 2011 graduates, and in this list, were some of my key target companies, that I was keen to work for – such as, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, P&G, L’Oréal, Heinz and so on. This impressed me, and I felt Hult would give me a good platform to network
