It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

There is ample evidence to suggest that individuals are born with special talents. Firstly, and most obviously, this is often physically observable. Basketball players, such as Michael Jordan, are extremely tall, and concert pianists are often blessed with long, nimble fingers. These physical gifts naturally help them to achieve greatness. Similarly, people are also predisposed against certain activities. A case in point was my father, who loved playing the guitar but was tone-‐deaf. As a result of this, he could never attain a high level on that instrument. On the other hand, it is certainly possible to

Andy saw Bilal standing at a bus stop as he drove past. Andy immediately stopped his car and, in an aggressive manner, ran over to Bilal shouting racist abuse and accusing him (falsely) of being involved in the kidnapping of a child. Andy then punched Bilal, knocking him to the ground. Andy then hit Bilal repeatedly with a rubbish bin which Andy ripped from the bus stop. Bilal’s injuries included a fractured cheekbone and jaw, and severe cuts to his face from which he lost a lot of blood. Bilal needed major surgery to rebuild his face.…

Medicare part A is the hospital insurance and it will pay your mother's hospital bill one hundred percent because she has met the three day minimum hospital stay criteria. That cost will include room and board and services such as lab work, any therapy she may have received during her stay as well as pharmacy. Since your mother also has Medicare part B which is the medical insurance, part B will pay eighty percent of the physician’s services as long as her annual deductable has been paid. Unless your mom has supplemental insurance coverage also known as Medigap insurance, she will be financially responsible for the twenty percent that part B Medicare does not cover. A Medicare supplement referred to as (Medigap) insurance, sold by private insurance companies, can help pay some of the costs that Medicare doesn't cover. Medicare.gov[11/04/12]www.medicare.gov/supplement-other-insurance/medigap/whatsmedigap.htm. A couple of examples of Medigap insurance companies are AARP, Humana, and Agis. You will have to pay the private insurance company a monthly premium for your Medigap policy just as you would any insurance policy. Keep in mind that premium will be in addition to the monthly Part B premium that you pay to Medicare. In order to qualify you must have Medicare part A and B. That maybe something you and your mother may want to look into.…

Everyone has their talents, whether it be drawing, writing, or playing a sport. No one was born with these abilities. To get to where they are now, they would have had to work. Like Doodle from The Scarlet Ibis, Waverly from Rules of the Game, or even Isaiah Bird. They all worked to be the best at what they do. Therefore abilities are not predetermined and that people do have control over them.…

Company X needs to consider a few factors to ensure FMLA compliance. Paternal leave is included under FMLA, so Company X was in compliance when they granted leave to Employee A (assuming the employee has also worked a minimum of 1250 hours). Employee A was eligible for 12 weeks of leave, but voluntarily decided to return early. FMLA does not require Company X to pay Employee A while on leave, denying that request was also in compliance with the law. Company X met…
