WRITING THE CONCLUSION
Title: Factors contributing to the Declining Standard of English among UTHM Students
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, it can be said that two factors contribute to the declining standard of English among UTHM students. They are the teaching of English in schools, and the changed role of English.
With regard to the actual teaching of English in schools, there are two reasons which affected students’ mastery of the English Language. Firstly, there is insufficient time for language learning because students do not have enough contact hours to practice the language.
Secondly, the classroom environment is not conducive to language learning because language classes are large and there are lacks of language laboratories for language practice.
