Strengths: this this part of the work there was a lot of written information that I had to get down. So it was appropriate for me to separate it with heading and subheadings so the assessor was able to understand it and make sure that they knew what they were meant to be reading. This also makes it look more professional and it also makes it look neater. Strength with this piece of work is the fact that I did it on the computer so it was easier to check with for mistakes with the spell check. Weaknesses: although there is some strength to this piece of work, there are also some weaknesses to it as well. For example, the introduction could have been longer and in more detail for what I was talking about and in some of the paragraphs and heading I have summarised in bullet points. I could have written all the information in detail in a paragraph however I did not because for the reader it would have been a lot to read and I wanted to make it easier for them to read which is why I made the choice to use bullet points. The general piece of work also doesn’t follow the same format that the others do. It has page numbers and the header is wrong. For the rest of the work I will make sure that the format is consistent throughout.
Opportunities: after reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of my work I can see that there were opportunities to complete and alter the work to its highest standard however because I joined the school late and had to catch up with everyone else I didn’t take these opportunities and left it how it was. I could have changed the format and made sure that I put all the information in the work rather than leaving it in bullet points.
Threats: when doing the wok, there were threats however these were avoided. An example of theses threat were the fact that I did join late so I had less time to complete the work than other people.
Peer assessment: I have evaluated my peers written communication skills. We can see that his written communication skills are quite good however you can find the odd mistake. For example, unneeded space between words, like ab le. However this does not stop him from explain his work in great detail and getting the highest grade possible.
Conclusion: in conclusion, I thinks that I succeed in my work however there are some improvements that, if I had the time, I could go back and do to it. Like changing the format and adding more information.

In this document I am going to analyse the different learning styles and how they may help people with personal development while in the workplace. I will use example from the workplace as well as my own experience with my personal development at my workplace.
There are 3 main learning styles, these are
• Visual
• Auditory
• Kinaesthetic
Visual: Visual learns learn from seeing something being done, rather than just hearing it. Watching it being done allows them to learn the technique. Visual learners will look at images, diagrams in order to get a better understanding of what they are trying to learn. They do not learn as well if they just listen to a lecture. For this reason, in order to help them learn and develop they might want to change their information that they are given. For example, they may want to change some information into diagrams so they can understand it better.
Kinaesthetic: kinaesthetic learn though doing the things they are trying to learn. They learn better on the job then if they were trying on a course away from the work environment. They need to see the importance in what they are doing otherwise they will not learn as quickly. We can aid these people in the workplace by training them in the work place and showing them how to do things rather than leaving them to read a manual. This will help them to learn what they need to do in the workplace.
Auditory: an auditory learner is someone who learns through listening to instructions they are given and being explained how to do tasks their given. Auditory learns learn through lectures and will not develop very well if all they are given is a manual to read. We can aid them in the workplace by setting up a program in which they are trained in a way that suits that learning style. With someone who talks and walks them through the processes.
It is important for an employers to know the different learning styles of their employees so that they can develop their career at your business. If an employer ignores the different learning styles then they risk their employees leaving the company because they are having a hard time developing the skills that they need

In my personal development plan, I identified some areas that I thought could do some improving as well as some steps that I can take to achieve these. In these document i a will be taking a look at my plan and see what I have done to achieve or get closer to achieve my goals.
One of my long term goals in my plan was to become a technician at work by the time I am 18. This is so I can gain valuable experience in team working and mechanics so that when I need to get a better job I will have an edge over my competitors. I can say that a few from the time of making this I have now been employed as a technician and I am achieved one of my long term goals that I set out for myself. This I good because I have achieved something that I had set out for myself
One of the other goals that I have set for myself on the plan is to be able to finish sixth form with 2 Bs and an A. I can say that at this time I am still on track to getting these grades and being able to go to university with these grades. This links in with my other target which was to apply to university with these grades. I have finished my UCAS application and the grades that they will be sending the universities are BBA. This is good because I have again achieved another one of my targets.
I am also on target for my other goals that I have set myself. I am on track to get a distinction in ICT so I am over achieving if I was trying to stick to my target. I am getting a merit in Business which is my target and I have been predicted a B in history which is also my target so everything seems to be going good right now.
In the areas of improvement I put that “At work I will need to show a good mechanical awareness and IT skills before they can make me a technician” clearly I have shown something in order for them to make me a technician. This means that if I was to redo the plan I can now take this off the area of improvement because it no longer has to be improved. I could replace it with that fact that I am constantly improving my knowledge of the machines and how to fix the problems in them.
Unfortunately, I have not made a revision plan for my history A-level. This would really help me if I want to achieve a B or even an A. I should set a time and date that this will be completed by so that it gets done and I can take it off the list. The sooner I am able to get this done then the sooner I can use it in order to help me achieve my grade in history.
Target: Make a revision plan before the end of the actual year and begin revising as soon as possible. This will help me to achieve the grade that I need in order to get into university
