It is when you first bend your knees, then put your hands up as if you’re riding a bicycle, then swing and dip to the left and right. When someone is performing the Yeet they often add their own moves in between each Yeets. The dance was made my thousands on the social media app Vine. Some made just a copy of them doing the dance or they made up their own renditions. They mainly did the vine for the fact the video for either the loops (views) or the fact that they do what most people do which is join the band wagon.
As more and more people started to yeet, the name for the dance move slowly worked its way into casual conversation, as a new way to express excitement over something. For example, let's say you and your friends are dancing and one lands a flawless back flip. ('Cause you know; that could totally happen.) That would be your cue to yell out "yeet!" and let them know just how awesome they are.
