with the knowledge that using physical force and violence is acceptable is a dangerous concept. Children who have received corporal punishment express this form of cruel violence towards their kids. According to scientist Megan Holmes, children who experience physical abuse often reflect that on there kids when they grow up to be a mom or a dad. This causes a never ending cycle because when their child gets older, they are likely to be abusive. Megan proves the statement in her article that children who are exposed to abuse will likely be abusive to there children. Also, the abused kid could grow up to be a problem in society and may end up in jail.
The terrible side effects to physical abuse is much more than just the violent behavior of the children once they reach adulthood.
Children who have been a victim of abuse can sometimes become unstable. Many have health problems or need assistance throughout his or her life because they are notcapable of doing things. It is stated many times throughout Yen-Chang Feng's article, that children who receive physical abuse as a disciplinary action are more prone to have unstable mental health problems. This is not the only result in which studies have reported back and proved that children who receive physical punishment are more likely to have a mental disorder rather than those who do not receive it. Disorders are one of the main affects to this violence. It can ruin someone's life and also can put many life's in
danger.

Abusive punishment may or may not work on some children because of the learning style of each individual. Some children need physical contact for them to listen or to help get the parents point across. Because this topic is so widely debated there are people against and for physical abuse on children. The idea that every child has a different learning style indicates that physical punishment is not always the correct disciplinary method to use on misbehaving children.
