Yeoman Duties And Responsibilities
Functioning as a Yeoman is hard work; organizing the Navy and understanding how each department interacts with each other is vital. When it comes to knowing an entire fleet of ships and the sailors who work on them, or handling the Navy's correspondence, legal and technical tasks on a daily basis, or just taking care of every sailor's information and making sure it's protected, Yeoman will make sure that the job is done right and that America's Navy is always on top.

To be part of this dedicated organization within the Navy, one must meet the requirements. The requirements needed to be Yeoman are actually basic. All the Navy needs is a person who is an American born citizen, has a high school diploma or some high quality of education, advanced

Each category has its own set of duties and responsibilities, but all of them have the most all round responsibilities. The Key Responsibilities of all Yeoman are to know every sailor and the aspect of their jobs, know the functions of the ship or shore station they work on, how to work operate personal computers, word processors, audio recordings, perform administrative functions, keep track of the Navy's on/outgoing paperwork, organize classified and declassified information, keep track of sailors pay, and coordinate and control Naval activities …show more content…
