Answer:

In a modern world we all adapt to what was introduced to us when we were first born. By adapt I mean as we grew older we learned what our society taught us due to the fact we're not different at all when we are born. We're just little babies who know absolutely nothing and our own society teaches us how to be and it all boils down from the ranks of the different social sciences than can have an impact on us.

There are seven major social sciences that exist. They are anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology, and sociology. Each and every one of them has a huge importance and influence on any modern society. Though all can have a huge impact each and every one of them has their own level of importance. If you were to rank them how would you?

I rank the the seven social sciences by what I personally think is the most important. My ranking system of the following social sciences is psychology, sociology, anthropology, geography, economics, political science, and history. Of course anyone could feel free to agree or disagree with me but this is my final stance on this subject. I chose psychology first because I think understanding how humans react and think to specific things is the most important thing we could all learn on how to treat and understand the mentality of other people. Right now there are so many people who never open up on how they truly feel and it leaves them with hidden feelings until the point where that particular person is not mentally sane. Besides that, the people with mental issues and hidden feelings vent to people who do understand psychology and see how that human thinks.

I chose sociology next because in a way it is like psychology. While psychology is the focus on how a single person thinks, sociology is understanding how a whole society thinks. If I'm going to another country where everything is new and exciting to a point I want to know how their society thinks and works. Even when I'm at that certain country I still want to learn about their own society. I then chose anthropology as my next choice. I think learning the aspects about anthropology is necessary. Learning about anthropology means you get to study and learn about humans as a whole. Getting to know where we came from and how we came about is a very interesting topic and it's knowledge that we should get to learn and know about our fellow species.

Next, I chose geography. Now after learning about the whole aspects of human beings I felt that it's important to include geography. The subject of geography is an important prospect to know in a modern society. You have to know where states, rivers, oceans, land, mountains, and etc.. are located. In a modern society we all travel and no matter where we go we have to know where our destination is exactly located.

Economics is a major influence in a modern society because with any type of currency a society uses, money can rule. It pays for you to eat, reside somewhere, and buy clothing. Sure money is used differently in other modern societies but that is how economics work in a suburban society in a developed city/state/country. Political science is a very huge influential role in modern societies. The reason I had ranked it next to economics is because besides money running things throughout our world, politics also do. I don't mean politics like Congress I mean anything. During a place of work, school, sport, music, and even family. They will choose whether they want something to happen or not and that's the way politics can have an impact on any society.

Sociology is the study of society. Through the centuries, sociologists have tried to provide an explanation as to why and how humans interact with each other on a social basis. Sociologists have divided sociology into two levels, microsociology and macrosociology (Sociology). The level of microsociology studies is on a smaller perspective, as macrosociology is the study of society on a larger analysis. Today, sociology has three major theories: symbolic interactionism, functionalism and conflict.…

What if people lived in a world where there was no cultures, no religion, no languages, no races, a world where everything was the same? In the futuristic world of the Giver all the people wear graym with the same haircut and no colors. Although some people may claim the world in the fiction novel The Giver by Lois Lowry is a utopia, it is a dystopia because sameness means there is no diversity which takes away from being human. Although sameness solves many of this world’s problems, it is not worth giving up diversity. In the story, as Jonas continues with his training he starts a conversation with The Giver about sameness. The Giver says “It wasn’t practical so it became obsolete when we went sameness. (...) Trucks; buses, slowed them down.…
