In developed parts of the northern or southern arctic regions many locals claim to have had Yeti encounters. Yetis have been seen looking for food, preying on smalls animals. Locals claim that Yetis have even attempted to pillage cities for example in 1963 in the town of Mystery in Alaska a herd of over a dozen Yetis charged into the confines of a junk yard and took many used parts of scrap metal and also wheels. A highly esteemed archaeologist Dr Bob Dhotcolm who was excavating an abandoned coal mine came into a 5 foot radious of a Yeti who seemed to be ill. Dr Bob who was afraid and felt threatened shot the Yeti in the legs using several rounds of amunition and went for help. By the time he and local law officials returned the Yeti was gone. Dr Bob later exclaimed " Aw ****in Yeti ****in tried to ***in eat me, that ****in yeti ****in mother ****in Yeti"
