Ymca Job Analysis
I plan on going forward with a sports management degree that can turn into a master’s degree at some point in my career. The first job I would like to have would be an office position at a YMCA or something similar to a YMCA, where I would deal with children’s athletics. I would like to stay in the Midwest, but I would want to be in one of the larger cities. The Midwest has a tough time with weather at times, and a gym at the YMCA can become a home to many children where it is easier for children to have a bond. The other options that I have open is work as an athletic director at the middle school level or working with the Special Olympics. I am a strong believe that at the middle school level, height or weight means nothing but numbers at

This could save someone’s live in an emergency situation. Since there is a large Hispanic population in Franklin County, some health and fitness classes can be focused on them by having an interpreter when teaching the course or have a Spanish speaking…

These demographic changes can be taken under consideration for the recruitment strategies, because Landslide Limousine Service can make a change in the city demographic by creating a diverse group of the minor’s ethnicities group. This can make a difference in how a Limousine company can be highlighted among others. With these factors, we suggest that Mr. Stonefield can plan to hire a new driver for every 5 client that repeat service in the company and it can possible that a 5% growth or higher over the next 5 years.…

Over the past several years I have worked as a substitute at Hindman Elementary. During that time I have filled a variety of positions, giving me the chance to become very well aquatinted with both the staff and the layout of the school. i was given the opportunity to work in the office quite frequently last school year, so much so, that I was given my own log in for the school's Infinite Campus, with limited access. From my substitute experience I know the daily routine of the school and have learned how to do a few things in the office such as, using the intercom, fax, and taking and transferring calls. I consider myself a friendly, hardworking, and trustworthy person. These qualities are desirable for any job, especially those working with…

Rosa Parks faced many stereotypes. As an example, in a biography about Rosa Parks, “BIOGRAPHY”, you will find that Rosa Parks was an activist that was always fighting for education and civil rights. For example, in the Rosa Parks biography, “BIOGRAPHY”, it says, “Raymond…received little formal education due to racial segregation… He supported and encouraged Rosa’s desire to complete her formal education” (BIOGRAPHY). This evidence shows that stereotypes impact society because it shows how Rosa’s husband, Raymond, couldn’t complete his education since people didn’t think that African-Americans were important enough to be fully educated.…

Overall, the larger did well on planning for the YMCA event. I felt everyone was participating and planning with the team. During class when we sit together as the group for YMCA, I saw the group getting into discussion about ideas for the event. I saw groups going up to TAs and the professor talking to them for advices and getting their questions answered about the event. It shows that the team is willing to be prepared and know what they expect during the event. At the event, the team was well prepared, they brought the materials that they need and everything went smoothly like they planned. Every stations were ready, the art and craft stations where they made flowers and pledges brought extra materials so there will be plenty enough for…

    Life After Sports Summary

Beyond the general population I am interested in working with, adolescents, I would like to specialize in sports counseling/psychology. The most significant finding from Navarro’s article revolved around selecting a major. The NCAA has certain rules for declaring majors and completing percentages of course work. Pressure from athletic advisors who are more concerned with eligibility than meaningful learnings and work, is not entirely something I faced in college, but I have several friends who could not choose the major of their choice because classes were only offered during practices or because travel would cause them to miss too many classes for a course. Where I would apply the findings from the research is adjusting working with revenue versus nonrevenue sports. The revenue sports are the sports that bring in money to the school and have possibilities of becoming professional with the opportunity to make millions of dollars. The goals of the revenue athletes are likely to be more focused on sports as a future, while the nonrevenue athlete does not have the same potential future earning in their sport and is looking for a career that still satisfies their athletic and competitive inclinations. It is important to me as a counselor to have this knowledge and tailor my work to suit their needs and realities. Student-athletes tend to have an identity…

In this lifetime, I have but one objective that I must risk everything to accomplish. Centered on loyalty, duty, respect, selfless-service, honor, integrity, and personal courage, the goal that I am referring to is becoming the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Only an elite handful of people has ever made it to this position. Two of those elites are General Powell and General Dunford. This supposedly tiny list will continuously grow as the years move on. This makes it apparent that as time fails to stop for anyone, the window of opportunity will also follow suit.…

Along with administering health care, my main goal for working in this setting is to be a positive influence in students’ lives and give back to the community by making the athletes that I serve into leaders. Being a leader and equipping others with the ability to become leaders is a passion of mine. What many people fail to notice is that this is a crucial time for many students as they attempt to grow into adults and not all coaches and athletic trainers seize the moment to support them along their journey. I want to be able to make an impact on students’ lives and change their…
