3) According to the Journal of Work, Environment, and Health during a trial period “the six-week yoga group improved significantly in mood and well-being compared to the control group (Hartfiel, 2011).

1) Yoga practice improved depression by decreasing cortisol levels.

a) According to New York Times, doing yoga may improve thinking skills and fight off age-related mental decline in older adults with signs of memory problems (Reynolds, 2016).
