The posters are meant to warn people what terrible effects are caused by the war, and how he did not want the same thing happens in the future.
In 2000 Lemel creates another set of artworks called “The Murder of P.M. Yitzhak Rabin”. These artworks are made with the intention to commemorate the death of Yitzhak Rabin. He creates three posters, which each one contains one object that is related to the case: Sabra, the bottom of a bullet, and a Yarmulke; which are the icons of the death of Yitzhak Rabin.()
Yitzhak Rabin (1922 1995) is the first native-born Israel who served as prime minister, who is famous with his attempt to making peace for Israel-Palestine by signing the Oslo Accords in 1993. Oslo Accords is an agreement from both Israeli and Palestine side to acknowledge the existence of each other, with Israel recognizing Palestine’s autonomy in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, while Palestine recognize the right of Israel existence and retreat the terrorism attacks towards Israel
