Thank you for marrying my mama instead of becoming a priest so that i and my two siblings shall come into existence. either way, you still are a "father". Indeed God's choice is always best, for he chose you for me. i love you from the most bottom part of my hypothalamus.

Many kids have their parents as theirs. I have both. I choose my dad because he is easy to talk to, he doesn't yell and is very understanding. He always spends as much time with me as he can. Many adults get upset very easily. Some let their children do whatever they want. I believe that both are equally harmful. I consider my dad as in the middle of the two. Sure, he has his moments when he's aggrevated, but it doesn't get the best of him. He takes me to Auto Shows, sporting events, and many other father-son activities. As you can see, my dad, as well as my mom, play important roles in my…

I could not get to this point in my life without the help of many people. So, first off I would like to thank all my family and friends who helped and participated in the service, especially those who have come a great distance to celebrate with me. Thank you to all my Hebrew school teachers especially Morah Sarah who had to deal with me for three years, lead the service Friday night and made my beautiful Tallis. Thank you to Rabbi Scolnic for his support, understanding and guidance. And a big shout out to Marcie (aka Marcielino), for not only being my Halftorah tutor but for being my friend and always having faith in me. (btw, stickle it, just a little bit) Thank you Aunt Leslie and Uncle Paul for searching high and low in Jerusalem to find me the perfect Jewish start necklace that I am wearing today! Thank you to Aunt Sharon for having patience and taking me dress shopping and allowing me to borrow these stunning shoes. Thank you to Marissa for being the best cousin and encouraging me to try on my party dress. Thank you to my Grandma for knitting me my Yalmukah…

Over vacation we spoke about writing letters (I hear it’s just like texting but even more efficient) and I realized that I should probably put into practice what I was preachin’. I was so impressed with the picture of you two that I had no choice but to share it, and what better way that via the mail! That night we went out to eat was such a blessing (minus your sushi dinner… maybe we can shoot for BBQ next time) and the Marsh Walk was absolutely beautiful. I was also lucky enough to enjoy the night with Ryan and the two people that raised him to be a man that I can say I trust whole-heartedly. It was the first time I really got to appreciate his parents and that was something I will be forever grateful for. There is…

Yesterday was a rollercoaster of a day...well, this year has been a rollercoaster itself anyway! I want to write this for myself...to remind me that the glory belongs to God and to Him only. None of it would've been possible without Him. I am not that special but He saw me and believed in me. Yesterday, finally, I got my degree as a Doctor...A DOCTOR!!!!!! :)...what a huge, incredible word; It has been a wondrous road since I came to this country 14 years ago: So much has happen along the way! I remember I didn't speak English, I didn't know the culture, nobody in my family had ever graduated from college, we grew up so poor, hope was scarce in many areas and on top of that my family didn't even believed or taught me about love, at the end I decided to come following my heart and the man I thought it was the one. It is truth that heartbreak came but blessings came too: I got my baby girl and kept going day by day learning, studying, raising her, loving her and Him. I had to go through some discrimination, some hate, some isolation, even a miscarriage but guess what? with Him I survived because He sent many more blessings including a sweet man and a beautiful baby boy...speaking of underserved…
