After a careful review of several candidates’ backgrounds, I have chosen to hire Jyoti as one of the new sales consultants for the fiber optics division of Fortune 500 Company. Her skills and background more closely aligned with the qualifications of the role than the other candidates who have applied for this position. I was immediately drawn to her once I saw that she was the Manager of Wireless Retail store and is an expertise in assisting and training in sales.
A sales representative should display leadership skills and have a solid foundation in customer service, which are important when it comes to selling products to customers. Jyoti strongly portrays these qualities in her resume, where she has managed a wireless phone company’s regional sales office and is an expertise in what customers want from their cellular service.
The job for the fiber optics devision requires the sales representative to be someone who has a vast knowledge about fiber optics. Although Jyoti’s resume does not state her knowledge of fiber optics, she is already at a high position in her job as manager of Wireless Retail Store, which is a job that is closely related to fiber optics, and it is only a matter of her learning about the field.
Since this job requires someone who has to travel from Monday through Friday, Jyoti fits this position perfectly because she is single and is free to make the time to travel to and from work. It also allows her to be free to work long hours, which enables her to spend the leisure time with the prospective clients. Unlike the other candidates, Jyoti’s background satisfies most of the requirements for the sales. She displayed the strongest foundation in sales, and the fact that she is single is a plus because she is available to travel and work long hours without a problem.
