An important question is why a teenager or adolescence becomes a criminal. First of all, due to overpopulation especially in third world, there are plenty of children who do not belong to a family or even they are not supported with any organization. They often do disorderly behaviors like aggressive panhandling or even more, they do false jobs. They sometimes are abused by gangs to spread drugs. Secondly, considering children who are living with their families, the way of treatment and discipline of parents is deeply effective. Indeed, children who are under the circumstances of either lack or lavishness of attention of their supporters are highly under the risk of violating the law, either by doing felonies or misdemeanors. Thirdly, that the media plays an important role is of no question. The games, cartoons, movies or TV shows which are specifically made for youth, in some cases, promote wrong behaviors among teenagers which lead to have potential of becoming offensive.
Now, what the best solutions are for these severe troubles. To begin, there should be a infrastructure governed by government to form precise programs to decrease level of juvenile delinquency. For instance, orphanages should be enough funded to support more orphans and discipline them. Plus, public education and awareness of families about how to behave and train their children, especially in their sensitive age, should emerge and improve via TV or radio programs or other kinds of media. Furthermore, parliaments ought to pass statutes or laws to have more supervision upon movie makers and programmers of games for juvenile, so that they consider moral restrictions on their works.
To conclude, there are several important reasons which lead to increase numbers of young offenders in big cities. The governments and families have to concentrate on allocating facilities and behaving in good manner with the youth, neglecting all of which can be harmful and hazardous for families and society in terms of youth crime.

It is widely acknowledged in Australia and around the world that young people under the age of 18 should be subject to a system of criminal justice that is separate from the adult system. This is because young people often have lower levels of maturity, as well as knowledge when it comes to the law. Although morals and ethics form an important part of school education (helping young people to make sensible decisions), most aspects of the law do not become clear until they reach adulthood. In NSW young people are legally separated from adults when it comes to rights such as questioning, identification, forensic procedures, having the right to a support person and automatic legal aid. Young people also have a separate court to deal with their and separate legislation offences. The effectiveness of these judicial and legislative provisions inevitably has mixed results. This merits an ongoing monitoring and review process that aims to identify the legal issues faced by young offenders within the criminal justice system, and support and protect young people in the legal system.…

For those who are not motivated may simply be unaware that they committed a crime. “When a normal person discovers a deviant impulse within himself, he is able to check those impulses by thinking about manifold consequences acting on it would produce for him” (Becker: 1963:27). A person that goes along with societal norms and regulation does not deter from their inner groups because they thinks rationally through every stage of their decisions. If the individual breaks the rules, there are steps that need to be considered for this to become a career path. But however, “one of the most crucial steps in the process of building a stable pattern of deviant behavior is the experience of being caught and publicly labeled as a deviant” (Becker 1963:31). As more minors are committing violent crimes, the question of whether they should be tried as adults has arisen. Children as young as 13 or 14 are committing violent crimes such as murder, rape, and armed robbery. Some of these children are being tried as adults while others are being tried as juveniles and receiving milder punishments. A juvenile offender may receive a few years in a juvenile detention facility and possibly probation following his release at age eighteen. An adult committing the same violent crime will receive a much harsher penalty, often years in jail, possibly a life sentence, with little or no chance of parole. The only difference between the two offenders is the age at which they committed the crime. Juveniles over the age of fourteen should be tried as adults when accused of violent crimes.…
