Youth Violence
Paragraph 1: What is the issue surrounding youth violence?
The issue with youth violence in the article titled “fresh focus on the roots of youth violence” & also “youth violence in the Toronto and our hierarchy of victimhood”
Is that youth or students under the age of 19 have been causing increasing the gang violence and death tools with brawls and gun shootings. The main topic discussed by the authors Patty Winsa & Simon Black in the two articles is that most of the violence that is occurring in cities is caused by teenagers.
Paragraph 2: What are the differing options concerning this topic?
The two articles talk about specific tragic events that occurred because of youth violence some of these tragic events occurred at Eaton centre. The shopping mall in Toronto Canada 24 year-old Ahmed Hassan died because of the shots fired at the shopping centre. Other topics mentioned in the articles is the lack of effort put in by the government to put a halt to the gang violence and shootings. It took a bit of time and a couple of horrific events to finally get the government and politicians of all stripes to talk about crime. Paragraph 3: What is your opinion?
