A tradeoff the other side may think is that Yucca Mountain has earthquake every year. But, none of those were destructive earthquake, that could affect the mountain. If all those the earthquake happened. Why is the mountain is still
standing? The answer is the mountain is strong to stay in place. That tells me that mountain is a great place for the nuclear waste. Another tradeoff is Las Vegas has ½ million people and is 100 mile away the mountain. But how can the waste get all the away to Las Vegas. There is 10 percent out of 90 percent that could happen. Also, nobody lives near Yucca Mountain because is unattractive. So nobody in Las Vegas won’t go there because is unattractive place.
