Zac Efron had a normal childhood until he was about 11 and then he started getting into singing and acting. Zac Efron grew up in Arroyo Grande, California. He had a happy childhood and was good in school. According to Zac Efron in the book Biography today” I grew up in California completely ignorant of the entertainment industry, I grew up as a regular guy with a regular life.I went to school and got good grades, I had the most normal life.” He liked and was good at sports but enjoyed acting and singing more. He could listen to a song, memorize it and sing it perfectly. His first step in music was playing the piano, his teacher to join a drama club and he didn’t want to until his parents and teacher pushed him to try it out. His first part was in the play “Gypsy”, he enjoyed it a lot. His first TV appearance was in the show “Firefly”, 2002. Zac had a normal life and din’t want to act, but good thing he did because it led to many high points in acting for him. Zac Efron is someone that has many highlights in his career. First in 2009 he played in the movie “17 Again”, about a guy who was in his late 30’s and went
back to when he was 17 and he had to go to school with his kids and had to try and save his marriage, also in 2009 he hosted SNL. In 2010 he played the movie “Charlie St. Cloud”, a movie about a guy who’s brother died when they were younger and he made a promise that he would meet up with him everyday and he ends up having to break that promise. In 2012 he voiced Ted in the movie “The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss. Most recently in 2014 he played in the movie “Neighbors”, he was a frat boy going against a suburban dad, the sequel to that movie just came out. according to Zac Efron in times.com “The caliber of work when you’re on set with guys like this is really smart and funny. You have to be ready for anything. The hardest part for me was finding some heart in this character, because he does a lot of really heinous things, and he’s nothing like me. This is the furthest character from myself that I’ve ever played.” Zac Efron had many highlights and some were more popular than others. Zac Efron played the lead role in High School Musical but he later regretted it.
High School Musical debuted in January 2006. Zac Efron said “They would send you to these rooms to learn the song and dances. Then you would rehearse you would audition and then all you would hear was okay we’ll call you. It was nerve wracking. I know now you never know what’s going on in a directors head.” They didn’t expect the movie to get big but it turned into the movie known as, the most successful movie in television. People started doubting if he actually sand in the movie. It was half true they had mixed singer/songwriter Drew Seeley’s voice in with his. High School Musical 2 became the most watched movie in 2007. He later regretted playing in these movies because he didn’t want to be known as a disney star. High School Musical had a big impact on his
career. Zac Efron is an incredible actor, he had a normal childhood great early career, he has had a lot of highlights in his career and played in a very popular movie High School Musical. Zac Efron is a great actor and is only at the peak of his career.
