Zaphod Beeblebrox, the President of the Galaxy, is a very egotistical being. He once famously said in a serious tone to one of his employees, Trillian, “If there's anything more important than my ego around, I want it caught and shot now.” He said this to her when she interrupted a newscast about himself. This shows that Zaphod Beeblebrox thinks that he is the center of the universe and that nothing is more important than he is.
