Whereas tourism in the past was dominated by tropical getaways and exotic adventures, travel in the globalized world has come to include less-traditional destinations with substantial meaning in their given setting. For example, places that have been drastically shaped by their history or certain historic events such as Northern Ireland or former Nazi occupation sites (142). It is important to make the point that the teacher support materials play a secondary role to the specification itself. The specification is the document on which assessment is based and specifies what content and skills need to be covered in delivering the course. At all times, therefore, this teacher support should be read in conjunction with the specification. If clarification on a particular point is sought then that clarification should be found in the specification itself.…

My production represents a certain stereotype that in my case is woman that are interested in fashion and beauty, my magazine doesn’t fit the needs for a social group in particular it can suit the needs of many. The age range of my target audience would be around ages 15- 22, as this magazine is aimed mostly at younger females. Mainly unmarried and working class woman as it contains fashion and styles that wouldn’t be budgeted at people with a poor financial background. There are a lot of magazines within the market that are being produced for the same target audience as me, as fashion and monthly gossip are ideal factors to contain within this type of magazine. Most younger woman and teenagers have a desire or passion for these things, which is why this type of magazine is so popular on the market. Therefore it’s hard to produce a magazine that stands out and has its own brand identity amongst a lot of others of the same genre. However my magazines main focus in o n different trends and styles within fashion, as well as those key ingredients for a typical girly magazine such as horoscopes, adverts and gossip. Consumers would be able to purchase my magazine from local shops and newsagents, also online and they can even subscribe to my magazine from its website, to receive…

In evaluating this or any magazine, the first thing that a reader notices is whether or not the issue has a clear and catchy layout. Even though layout may not seem that important because it is not the actual content of the magazine, this criterion is necessary for this evaluation. Most people will not buy a magazine unless it is visually pleasing. An organized and creative layout is important to a magazine 's success. The first thing one will notice about the March 2013 issue of Success Magazine is that the cover features a celebrity of entrepreneurial success. Coordinated with catching concepts that are inside the magazine and colors of feelings like blue, light blue, yellow, that brings a refreshing new feeling to the magazine making the layout very attractive. The cover also used many large and bold fonts in an…

Check-backs and response-checks are used in sales dialogue to promote buyer interaction with the seller. Sellers use check-backs to encourage customer feedback. Sales people can use responses to understand which benefits the consumer confirms. The type of feedback a buyer gives may allow the seller to determine the level of interest the customer has in the product or services. When a buyer objects the seller, the feedback that the seller initiates afterwards, allows him or her to evaluate how well the situation was handled. An example of a response check could be “Does that answer your concern” or “So is this something that would be valuable to you?”.…

For my AS Media coursework, I chose to use fashion as the genre of my magazine. To help with my pre-production, I had to perform my own qualitative and quantitative research into fashion magazines and find out what my target audience of 15-19 year old girls would want from it. I went on to create the preliminary products which included the front cover and contents page, and from these the main products which were the alternative front cover and double page spread. These were all produced using Photoshop.…
