Moreover, I am zealous post-class activity to exchange ideas and inspire my passion and field of view. From this respect, I cannot find a better institution than Cornell University that usually dispose alumni events, coordinate career orientation and site visit, and hearten community service involvement to amend my social abilities.

He explains his 5 criteria for assessing good colleges for the purpose of learning as “Myth Busters,” and those are all reasons that ultimately go against choosing Ivy League institutions. He further expands his argument by saying Ivy League schools sacrifice undergraduates, honors research over teaching, and thus professors do not put in a lot of effort into teaching. The 40 Liberal Art Colleges introduced in this book generally complies his criteria. In particular, Pope emphasizes how the professors focus and commit to teaching and supporting students, sensibly engaging students in the professor’s own research projects.…

Ave Maria University is known as a prestigious institution of learning. Each and every young adult has the right to learn. This brings me back to the times when I was given the opportunity and pleasure to mentor grade school students in the sport of baseball. I took this opportunity to not only teach them the fundamentals of the sport, but I was also blessed with learning compassion and patience from these young enthusiastic learners. This opened a door for me to go on to mentoring underprivileged students at the University of Illinois at Chicago campus. This touched me so much that it would be an honor while attending Ave Maria University, to get involved in mentoring and volunteer work on campus and within the community. My academic career choice is aimed at giving back. It would be a privilege to study here, especially for students like myself, whose careers may take them anywhere. A degree with your institution is sure to open doors and opportunities for me, regardless of where I am.…

Although I can’t answer all the questions about how I’ll do it, I’m certain that I want to make a difference in the world. Barnard’s atmosphere and its joint theater program are the main factors that have influenced me to apply. Academically, Barnard is known for its intimate learning environment. I’ve spent my entire life going from one close-knit group to the next. Whether it was Taekwondo, Dance, Theater, or The Commonwealth Governor’s School, each of those groups were empowering, nurturing, and noble in their own individual ways. Barnard embodies all of those qualities, which is what I find attractive. Also, the joint-program for theater really speaks to me because it’s my personal belief that collaborative endeavors create true art. It’s true art that touches the lives of those who work on it and those who see it.…

However, I have faith that hard work goes hand in hand with social interactions and befriending new momentary strangers. I am willing to place the effort and reach ultimate result, and I have a desire that, at this point, seemingly can only be quenched by your college. Frothing for success, I view myself as an asset and a prominent potential contributor to your academic environment. Nevertheless, life is a marathon and not a sprint, therefore to dodge exhaustion, regular breaks and moments to smell the roses are greatly valued, hence another reason to why you are my most desired option. The fact that you place weight in Liberal Arts might allow me to reach out to other aspects of the academic horizon. Thus granting me a freedom to study art, literature and philosophy, at the same time keeping me on a path that can only lead me up the mountain of decisions we need to take to achieve the view we all have a wish for.
