The dawn of marginalization and colonization of the New World did not come without struggle and suffering for both Native Americans (American Indians) and African Americans alike. For the importance of Zheng He’s voyage in 1405 A.D during the Ming Dynasty marked the beginning of the “Age
of Discovery”, which in turn, later inspiring the European’s massive campaign to colonizing the world, and its continuous practices of controlling the profits of goods and its valuable resources. However, such ambitions of conquest didn’t come without its shortcomings. It required a massive workforce crafted on the blueprint of “violence, expropriation, destruction and dehumanization”. Employing the might of mercenary and settlers with the sheer promise of personal wealth and status to wage a war of extinction. For example, the encounter between conquistador Francisco Pizarro and Inca Emperor Atahualpa on November 16, 1532. After, deceiving the Inca Emperor, Francisco Pizarro stripped Atahualpa of his honor, beliefs and land while massacring the remaining region of his empires in the quest to conquer. Forcing Atahualpa to admit to defeat and later his acceptance to Christianity before murdering him and colonizing South America.
