The plot of the story was that Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan have an affair and her husband Tom Buchanan finds out and goes to confront Jay Gatsby. Meanwhile Myra is killed in a car accident cause buy Daisy Buchanan. Jay Gatsby takes the blame. Myra’s husband finds out and goes over to the mansion owned but Gatsby and shoots him, and then himself. Killen them both.
This Book makes you want to keep reading. The book does not grab your attention till the middle of the book. You have to read the first few chapters till you get into the book. After you don’t want to put the book down. When you find out the daisy Buchanan has an affair you are shocked and want to find out what happens next.
I can related to daisy because she has been waiting for jay Gatsby for a long time since the war but had to move on. I relate to it because I liked my best friend and waited to see if he felt the same way. Then one day just had to move on. Then after I found out. Just like daisy did she found out he still was in love with her and end up getting together behind her husband’s back to have the affair.
The struggles that jay and daisy had to hide their affairs showed how much the truly loved each other. Even though she didn’t love her husband and knew he was having an affair with Myra the still stayed together. Everyone knew about his affair but didn’t know about jay and daisy. It was unlike an affair I have heard or read about. They were deeply in love with one another.
This book you should read because it talk about love and has a drama plot. You could connect to this book if you ever loved someone and can’t hide the feelings anymore. I suggest this book if you’re looking for dramatic plot. It will certainly show you how to love.
