A Career in Acting
Thesis: A career in acting has many parts, but all of it is dedication.
I. To be an actor first you have to get the proper education and training.
A. Formal training is necessary to an acting career.
A.1. Www.careers.stateuniversity.com says “it is a profession that requires unusual talent and years of training and study” (“Actor Job Description, Career as an Actor, Salary, Employment”).
A.2. They also continue to say, “ Besides developing acting skills, aspiring performers should study speech, voice, pantomime, dance and movement, period styles, improvisation, and a variety of other skills like fencing, juggling or playing a musical instrument.” (“Actor Job Description, Career as an Actor, Salary, Employment”).
B. College is also a very important part of an actor’s education.
B.1. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics states that “many actors have a bachelor’s degree”(“Actors”).
B.2. Also, “more than six hundred colleges and universities offer theater arts programs and many have special drama schools.
II. Acting is not all about just wanting to do it, there are many skills needed to make it.
A. Experience is a vital part of acting.
A.1. As Net Industries says, “practical acting experience is the most common requirement for success.” (“Actor Job Description, Career as an Actor, Salary, Employment”).
A.2. There are many places where you can get this experience, as Net Industries says, “prospective actors are advised to join a local theater group, participate in activities that require public speaking, take part in school plays, and become avid viewers of films and plays.” (“Actor Job Description, Career as an Actor, Salary, Employment”).
B. Actors not only have to have that, but talent is almost always necessary to have a good actor.

III. Actors earnings are not as flighty as many
