1. In the adj fig, seg SP ⊥ side YK & seg YT ⊥ seg SK. If SP = 6 , YK =13 ,YT= 5

and TK= 12 then find :- A(∆SYK):A(∆YTK).

2. In the adj fig., seg DH ⊥ seg EF and seg GK ⊥ seg EF. If DH = 12 cm,
GK = 20 cm & A(∆ DEF) = 300 cm² then find (i) EF (II) A(∆GEF) (III) A( DFGE)

3. In the adj fig., RP : PK = 3:2 then find the value of :
(i) A(∆ TRP) : A(∆ TPK)
(II) A(∆ TRK) : A(∆TPK)
(III) A(∆ TRP) : A(∆ TRK)

4. In the adj fig., Q is the centre of circle & PM & PN are the tangent segments

to the circle. If ∠ MPN = 40° find ∠ MQN.

5. In the adj fig., point P is the centre of the circle and line AB is the tangent to the circle at T . The radius of the circle is 6 cm . Find PB if ∠ TPB = 60°

6. As shown in the above fig., two concentric circle are given and line AB is tangent to the smaller circle at T. Show that T is the midpoint of seg AB.

7. The radius of the circle is 7cm and m(arc RYS)= 60° with the help of the

figure, answer the following questions :
(i) Name the shaded portion.
(ii) Find the area of the circle.
(iii) Find A(P- RYS)
(iv) Find A(P- RXS)

8. The radius of the circle is 7cm. Find the area of the sector of this circle if the angle of the sector is :
(2m)
(i) 210 °
(ii) 3 rt. Angles
9. If the area of minor sector of a circle with radius 11.2 cm is 49.28 cm² . Find the measure of the arc .
