It was a beautiful morning, the weather was cloudy and it was about to rain any time soon. I left my bed and was going to freshen up when my cell phone rang. It was my cousin who was calling me and when I answered the phone she asked me if I would like to join her and my other cousins for a picnic to the beach. To me it was like a dream come true, because I’ve always loved to go on beach picnics especially when the weather is amazingly beautiful. I accepted the offer at once and she told me to get ready in an hour so that we could enjoy before the weather changes.
I promptly got ready and was so excited that I did not even have breakfast and left as soon as my cousins came to pick me up. On our way to the beach my cousin asked me if I’ve had breakfast or not since they planned to have breakfast somewhere outside on our way back home. We were all having fun talking, teasing and joking with each other and just when we were about to reach it started to drizzle and the weather became even more wonderful.
Finally, after a drive of 45 min, we arrived at the beach super excited and ready to have lots of fun. We had brought a cricket kit, a football and some skipping ropes along with us and started to play cricket at first. We were enjoying to the max when I saw something terribly horrifying coming our way, it was a huge wave just about 500 feet away from us! I shouted and made my cousins look towards it. For a moment there was complete silence all around and then everyone started running and screaming, least bothered about anyone except themselves, not realizing that it was too late. I was also running and when I looked back I could see the big wave coming through and destroying everything in its way. The feeling of getting dead soon had already killed me from inside and I closed my eyes when the wave was about 5 feet away from me.
