Everybody calls me young, beautiful, wonderful Am I? Look at my hair, my lips, my red rosy cheeks and a pair of blinkering eyes.
I remembered somebody says that I look like my mother. But that when she was young.
Now I am much lovelier than she is. I’m a mortal venus.
Oops! What time is it? I must get ready for the party.
Beep-beep! A-huh! Here they are! Yes, I’m coming!
Child are you still there?
Hmp! That’s my mama.
Child are you still there? Will you please get me a glass of cold water?
Mama, I’m in a hurry!
Please child, try to get me a glass of cold water?
Mama, try to get it on your own!
Please child, try to get me a glass of cold water!
At the party I dance and dance the whole night.
You see I can’t leave the party at once I have to dance with everyone who propose to me.
At the party is over I am very tired. Very very tired.
So I went home to tell mama what happen.
Mama I’m home! It’s very quiet. Mama I’m home! Nobody answers.
Where is she? I look for her in the sala she’s not there. Where is she?
A-huh! In the kitchen!

I remembered she tried to get it.
Oh God, just for a glass of cold water! Mama,Mama oh

I have four friends that I affectionately call “my bridesmaids.” They are great listeners and learners. But they know exactly when enough is enough. These girls know when it is time for them to talk or question my choices. Or even question my state-of-mind. I feel quite sure, for better or worse, nothing will be left off the table with these ladies. And if I ever feel judged, it’s my fault. Everything that we speak to one another is out of love.…

My mom and my step dad were talking about something and my mom said that I told her that I wasn't feeling good so I went upstairs in my mom's room. All I remembered was lying down and then all of the sudden just blacked out. From what my step dad and my mom saw was worse. My step dad was going to the room to get something when he saw me at the edge of the bed with my eyes rolled back and I was shaking like crazy. He yelled my mom's name and she rushed up the stairs, when she got there she said that I just looked passed out and she picked up my body and head off the ground and kept calling my name she said that I was squinting and trying to say yes. My step dad called the ambulance and they came. When I got to the hospital they ran tests on me to see what was going on. They told my mom it was meningitis. That week was the most horrible week of my life. I was having headaches, throwing up constantly, drowsiness, pain in my body etc., but it was thankfully the virus one and…

Placing his hand on my cheek, he whispered, “It's just an innocent compliment. I look exactly like my older sister Michelle. You’d sometimes think we were twins if not for the seven year gap and the one inch height difference. What that seven year separation doesn’t show in our faces, it makes up for in our experiences. The situation worked in my favor; Michelle went through various life stages years ahead of me, allowing her to share her “Now that I look back on it” wisdom with me. Because of this, my sister took it upon herself to guide me through adolescence. I am eternally grateful to have had her to support and care through our tumultuous childhood.…

Anna held onto the water jug and scooped water to fill her jug. She poured it out into another different container and did this action repeatedly for four times. While doing this, she was whispering to herself, ‘The water is so cold!’ Anna turned to Amy and asked, ‘What are you doing?’ Amy replied saying, ‘The water keeps coming out from the holes (of the container she is using).’ ‘Use this!’ Anna suggested by handing over the jug she was holding. Meanwhile, Dean was looking for a material to help him put water into a bottle. He asked Anna and Amy, ‘Where’s the funnel?’ Anna immediately went over to the other end of the container to get the funnel for Dean. She asked Dean, ‘Can I help you fill the bottle?’ Dean nodded his head and they both started pouring water into the funnel. They were laughing and having fun filling the bottle as water splashed onto them. Amy picked up a syringe and filled it with water. She then squirted the water at Dean and the three of them started to sprinkle water at each other. They were having a lot of fun until it was time to pack up.…

One day when I was about three, my aunt Judy and I went walking over to my papaw Randy’s house because he lived a little up the road and I wanted to visit. When we were walking up the road everything was fine until there was just a little bridge we had to walk across, only about six feet from the water. So while we were on the bridge me being the little nosey child I was, I wanted to throw some rocks off the bridge into the water. Whenever I threw the rock I guess I didn’t let go and I almost fell off the bridge. She tried to grab my arm and pull me up. Whenever I was back up and safe the ground below her fell through and she fell off the bridge. After that I ran up to my papaw because he was outside in his garage and I told him that Judy fell in the creek. He ran down to the bridge and told him wife to call the ambulance. They got her out of the creek, but she fell head first onto a really big rock and died.…
