A hero, My hero...

A hero is a person that saves people from dangerous times. A hero is a person that saves lives. One day I would like to be called a hero. Heroes are created by events around them. Most people have a person that they call their hero. I sure do have one. Most people say their heroes are they moms or dads. Most kids call their favorite super hero their hero. If all you want is fame it doesn’t matter what you do, you shouldn’t be called a hero. Heroic things happens around us all day, every day. When you’re a hero you always face something bad. Heroes are mostly adults but you can be a hero and a kid. Most heroes get famous but some don’t. What is a hero? To me a hero is not somebody with the ability to fly, run fast, or control other people’s minds. A hero is just an average man or woman who fights to solve a common problem in today’s society. A hero is a random person that rises to the occasion and performs an action of a superhero. A hero is somebody as average as you and me that sees a problem and takes it upon themselves to fix it. Just because you get defeated doesn’t mean you can’t get called a hero. Animals can even be called heroes. Heroes risk their lives to save someone else life. Most of the heroes in movies are men but women can also be called a hero. A hero is kind of like a role model. A role model is someone you look up to and so are heroes! Every person who has a hero looks up to their hero. Some heroes are the brave, courageous, and valiant men and women that serve in our military. These are people that are just like you and I. They do not have any extraordinary superpowers besides a sense of duty towards this country and the people that inhabit it. They travel across oceans and leave their friends and family behind so that they can fight to defend people that they don’t even know and to secure the lifestyle that so many of us take for granted.
